Alaska Online training offers accredited online continuing education in the following areas: contractor ce, electrician ce, engineering courses, OSHA outreach (10 hour and 30 hour), industrial skills courses, safety training, environmental courses and Greenguide:
Contractor CE: Alaska contractors can choose from four NATE recognized packages, the RSES library, eight safety for HVAC tech courses, 10 air conditioning fundamentals courses and 12 electricity for HVAC tech courses. (After clicking on the “Contractor CE link, choose “ALL” and “Continue.”)

Electrician CE: Electrical Administrators are required to take 8 hrs of continuing education per category type every two years, based on the current state adopted codes. Electrical Journeyman are required to take 16 hours of continuing education every two years, of which at least eight hours must be based on the current codes and eight hours may be "industry related."
Reciprocity: Alaska offers reciprocity with the following states: Colorado, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. For a fee of $20 some courses can be reciprocated. This depends on the course, the state you are receiving credit for, and the state you would like to reciprocate credit to.

AK Journeyman 16 Hour CE Package: (8 hours Code/ 8 hours Industry) Contains Electrical Fundamentals, NEC 2008 Code Update, NEC 2008 Wiring & Protection, NFPA 70E.
Engineer: Alaska engineers are required to complete 24 hrs PDH by December 31st biennially, odd years. The Alaska board does not pre-approve PDH providers or courses, but does encourage engineers to select “meaningful continuing education activities which will be of benefit in the pursuit of their chosen field.” All subject matter shall address the public’s Health, Safety and Welfare.”

OSHA Outreach Training: OSHA recommends Outreach training Program courses as an orientation to occupational safety and health for all workers. We offer both OSHA 10 hour and OSHA 30 Hour Outreach training. The successful completion of this course will help to meet the Construction Industry standards established by OSHA. Upon completion of the 10-hour and 30-hour course, you will receive a completion card from the Department of Labor within 4-8 weeks. An Authorized OSHA Outreach trainer is available to answer any questions students may have while taking the online course. Eight packages and 10 courses to choose from.
Industrial Skills: In fiscal year 2009, OSHA assessed the highest penalties related to fall protection, scaffolding, control of hazardous energy (lockout/tagout), excavations, machines, general duty clause, management of hazardous materials, ladders, powered industrial trucks and aerial lifts.
Industrial Course library contains over 400 titles, so please be patient while it loads. Rraising awareness in workplace safety reduces accidents and fines.
