Alabama Online Training offers continuing education for contractor ce, HVAC courses, engineering courses, industrial skills training, safety training, Greenguide courses, Environmental training, OSHA outreach – 10 hour and 30 hour.
Contractor CE: Alabama certified contractors are required to acquire eight credit hours of continuing education over a two-year period. The Board may require certified contractors to submit to the Board proof of compliance with the continuing education requirement on an annual basis to allow the Board to maintain its records regarding continuing education attendance of each certified contractor.
HVAC Contractor 8 Hour Package: 8.0 hours, $80.00. (Business Ethics, Electrical Fundamentals, Refrigeration Basics I) We also have many other great HVAC courses available.
Electrical Fundamentals: Knowledge of basic fundamentals of electricity and its application is increasingly becoming a necessity. This four hour module introduces and studies the general physics, that is, the basic natural laws which govern the application in utilization of electricity.
Engineer: The Alabama Board of Licensure of Land Surveyors and Professional Engineers require that all engineers obtain 15 PDH of continuing education every year by December 31. Alabama engineering courses include several general safety courses, business skills, electrical courses, OSHA (safety and health, recordkeeping, intro to OSHA,) hazardous communications, general building manual (HVAC, concrete, solar heating, painting, drywall, math and measurements, carpentry and roofing), ADA and more.
Environmental Courses: Alabama Online Training offers 17 packages and 18 individual courses covering such topics as the Green Infrastructure Guidelines Certification Program, Green Building: commercial High Performance, Indoor Environment, Site Design and Planning, RCRA Day to Day Ops, The Clean Air Act, Spill Prevention Control & countermeasure, The Clean Water Act and several other great titles.
All courses will come with a printable certificate upon successful completion. We can also custom design your course with site-specific training information or set you up with our Learning Management System allowing you to register and track your employee's training.
Green Building: Design Process: The emphasis on interdisciplinary design and resource management, together with use of new design tools, distinguishes high performance from conventional processes.
OSHA Outreach Training: Accepted by OSHA. OSHA recommends Outreach training Program courses as an orientation to occupational safety and health for all workers. Upon completion of the 10 hour and 30 hour courses, you’ll receive a completion card from the Department of Labor within 4-8 weeks. An Authorized OSHA Outreach trainer is available to answer any questions students may have while taking the online course.
